Wise Products, a Glasgow greeting cards publisher, asked me to help them diversify their greeting cards business with a series of cards – aimed at women buying for for men – based on scotch whisky labels.
Based around key ages of 21, 30, 40 etc. this was a chance to go over the top mixing and balancing faces within this rich typographic tradition, stretching back to letterpress.
Over 30 different typefaces were used across 18 different cards. They are now selling well, especially in the US.
